About

No boring workouts, only results!

Invigorate gym Te Atatu has been in the pipeline since 2014, owner Matthew Norris has been in the fitness industry for just under 15 years and has worked from a Gym Instructor through to Club Manager at a commercial gym. Personal Training has always been his passion and that is why he opened Invigorate. He noticed that his clients who were getting the best results were the ones who were seeing him 2-3x per week, not just the once. Realising that not everyone can afford Personal Training every session he started to work on how he could deliver the service and results of Personal Training without the large cost.

On 1st July 2017, Invigorate opened it's doors.

Every customer has the choice between a Boot Camp Membership which uses the latest Heart Rate Technology and Small Group Training Sessions where every member has a personalised program and works in a small group of up to 6 people. Training in a small group shares the cost and mean you can get the same service as one on one training but train several times per week.

Invigorate is helping a wide range of members aged from 15 up to 65 years old. Matt says "because every workout is personalised to the individual it doesn't matter the member's age, fitness level or whether they have injuries or not, we tailor it to you". Matt has lived in Te Atatu South for 4 years now and he actually lives on Central Park Drive, so when he was looking for an area to start his gym Te Atatu was his first choice as he wanted it to be within his community - and I am sure you'll agree he couldn't get much closer, Invigorate is now just at the end of the road.

He believes the key to success in any business is to over deliver and give a service that people want to come back to. Also, he says "Community is key in a gym and we are very lucky to have some awesome members who create that." Matts plan for 2018 is to further his involvement in the local community by putting on free health and fitness workshops. He also by supports local charities by raising money with Give Back Boot Camps.

Invigorate is just the start of what Matthew hopes to achieve. He wants to build the gym but also wants to help young trainers who are struggling to make their passion a career. In the future, Invigorate will offer internships to help and nurture new trainers which in turn will raise the standards of the New Zealand Exercise Industry.
